Youth congress planned
(N Z Press Association ) WELLINGTON, February 7. Preliminary plans have been announced for a New Zealand youth congress at Otaki in August. "We seek to bring together 150 young people in the age group 16 to 24 for a widelyrepresentative gathering lasting nine days,” the chairman of the congress planning comittee (Mr Guy Salmon) said The congress will be known as Huihuinga Tamariki, which means “a coming-together of young people.”
