Youths fight in street
(N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, Feb. 7. A disturbance involving about 80 youths from Hawera, Stratford and New Plymouth kept the police busy for two hours at Hawera early this morning. Called when the youths began fighting .in the town’s main street at 12.15 a.m., the Hawera police helped by the night patrol squad from New Plymouth, took two hours to clear the street. No arrests were made.
