This is an opportunity for a suitable qualified person to work with a multi-disciplinary team which includes a Rehabilitation Officer, Medical Officer, Social Worker and Placement Officer. The work involves the administration of practical vocational work, assessment of disabled persons and the interpretation, and recording of test results. A background of industrial or vocational rehabilitation experience would be desirable. An opportunity to develop research in conjunction with other team members would be available. A geophysical satellite ground command and data acquisition station will be commissioned there in 1971. Applications are invited for the position of science technician, to assist in the design, construction, modification, operation and maintenance of equipment at Lauder and at the auroral radar field station in Southland. A knowledge of and experience in electronics is required. Some experience in workshop practice and photography is desirable but not essential.
