Treatment for Minister
(N.Z. Press Association) WHAKATANE, Feb. 5. The Minister of Works and Electricity (Mr Allen) returned to his home in Whakatane yesterday and was stung or. the head by a wasp. This morning Mr Allen had to report to the Whakatane Hospital and complained about a stiff finger.
A fish scale was found which had apparently been embedded for a month in his finger. The scale was removed by surgery and Mr Allen was allowed to leave.
