Supplementary wharf hours
Watersiders at Lyttelton are expected to work supplementary hours at the port on Monday evening. They will load cargo aboard the Danish motor vessel Magdala at Cashin Quay, and the German motor vessel Riederstein at Glalstone Pier. Both vessels are to load for the Continent. This is not the first time that supplementary hours have been worked at the port under the new general principal order of the Waterfront Industry Tribunal, because they were previously worked in limited form when bulk tallow was loaded aboard the Dutch motor vessel Straat Chatham at Cashin Quay early last month.
