Scholarship criticised

Eighty of the 140 Rhodes Scholars at Oxford have called for a change in the scholarship conditions, which they say discriminate against blacks in South Africa and Rhodesia. A petition carrying their signatures was handed yesterday to the warden of Rhodes House and secretary to the scholarship trustees (Mr E. T. Williams), who said that he had no comment on the petition.
