SMALL-BOAT REGISTER

Minister asks for report

The Minister of Marine (Mr McCready) is in sympathy with some form of national registration for small power boats, but wants more information before he comes to a decision. Mr McCready said this in a letter received by the Lyttelton Harbour Board yesterday. N. Kerr) when he returns from overseas to let me have a report early in 1971 with particular reference to any arguments why there should not be national registration, and any problems which he foresees.”
