New Tippett opera
Michael Tippett’s third opera, “The Knot Garden,” will have its world premiere at Covent Garden on December 2, conducted by Colin Davis and produced by Peter Hall. This will be the first collaboration of these two artists who, in 1971, will become directors of the Royal Opera.
