Charge of murder
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 23. Clifford Walter Sage, aged 54, a clerk, appeared in the North Shore Magistrate’s Court today charged with murdering Mary Bower Sage at Browns- Bay on October 26. Mr J. H. Murray, S.M., remanded Sage for a further period at Oakley Hospital to December 21, for the taking of depositions. A charge of attempting to murder Mary Bower Sage laid against Sage last month was withdrawn.
