Colombo Plan meeting off
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 23. The Minister of Customs (Mr Adams-Schneider), will not now be travelling to Manila in December for a Colombo Plan consultative committee meeting. Announcing this at today’s Cabinet press conference, the Prime Minister (Sir Keith Holyoake), said that the meeting had been cancelled as a result of the typhoon which struck Manila last week. The meeting had now been tentatively set down for February next, he said.
