Pay increases
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 23. Salary increases ranging from $165 to $520 yearly are provided for local body officers in an award released today by the Court of Arbitration. The award covers the Wellington, Taranaki, ■ Marlborough, Nelson, and Westland industrial districts. Male officers in receipt of $3740 or more a year and female officers in receipt of $2550 or more are not included in the award.
