Scooter-rider injured
Head injuries were suffered by the rider of a motor-scooter when the machine was involved in a collision with a car in Cathedral Square about 9 a.m. yesterday. Christine Margaret Smith, of 86 Browns Road, was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital, where her condition last evening was described as fairly satisfactory.
