MAN KILLED
(N.Z. Press Asspcioiion) INVERCARGILL, Nov. 22. A m«n was killed and nine others were injured in a head-on collision involving a van and a small bus on Thursday afternoon on Awarua Road, about two miles from the Tiwai aluminium smelter site. Killed was Mervyn James Church, aged 37, of Invercargill, who was alone in the van. He was a security officer at the smelter site. Four of the injured men were admitted to Kew Hospital, but none of them with serious injuries.
