James favoured at Franklin tomorrow

“The Pre**” special Service AUCKLAND. The New Zealand Trotting Cup winner, James, showed in an exhibition run over a mile and a half at Alexandra Park on Saturday that he was fighting fit for the W. Hosking Free-For-All tomorrow evening.

After going at a leisurely pace for the first mile, James speeded up and sprinted the last half in 1:3 2-5, and quarter in 31 2-5.
