Brabin Cup players
There were no major surprises in the Brabin Cup cricket squad of 20 announced by the selectors on Saturday, although P. Devlin, who scored 21 and 31 in the trial game last week, was a little unfortunate not to be included.
A. Glen and P. Kyle are two players who did not appear in the earlier trial, but their performances with the Kiwi team which toured Australia in January would justify their inclusion.
The squad is:— R. Fulton, J. Crider, J. Wright, A. Ormond, A. Boe, P. McEwan, K. Chambers, K. Squire, G. de Latour, C. Galwey, W. Bell, R. Newton, I. Wilson, R. Wilson, P. Joyce, J. Fleming, J. Morris, A. Glen, D. Burrell, P. Kyle.
