OBITUARY
' Mr K. Archer (From Our Own Reporter) WESTPORT. The death occurred at Reefton on Tuesday of Mr Keith Foster Archer, the president of the Reef ton Jockey Club for the last three years, and an assistant judge to the Reefton Trotting Club. He was 54. Born in Reefton, and educated at Westport, Mr Archer first worked in the family-owned coal mine at Boatmans. He later became a painter and decorator in Christchurch before returning to work in Reefton. In more recent times he was employed by the Inangahua County Council until his retirement through 111 health. He had been a tennis player of note, and was a member of the Reefton Bowling Club. He is survived by his wife, one son and two daughters.
