THE AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY RESEARCH SCHOOL OF SOCIAL SCIENCES RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP IN THE DEPARTMENT OF LAW APPLICATIONS are invited for the post of Research Fellow in the Department of Law, Research School of Social Sciences. The Department is concerned with research in depth into legal problems, with an emphasis on the relation of legal studies to other social studies and in active collaboration with the other departments of the Research Schools of Social Sciences and Pacific Studies. It is intended that the Department will eventually cover all main branches of legal research. At present the emphasis is on International Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law and Common Law. The successful applicant will be expected to work in the field of the legal system of PapuaNew Guinea, and preference will be given to applicants with some experience in the area of land law. The salary of a Research Fellow is determined within the range $A6318-$A8698 per annum. Appointment is usually for three years with a possible extension to five years.
