Several vegetables rose in price at Christchurch produce markets yesterday compared with prices on Monday. Cauliflowers were 40c dearer at to $1.60 a case, lettuces were up 45c to $2.40 a case and the top price for spring onions was $1.35 a bunch compared with 60c on Monday. One vegetable which dropped noticeably in price was cucumbers, $1.5 cheaper at to 80c a case.
