FILM FESTIVAL PRIZE WINNERS
The Los Angeles Cinema Club, with its film "The Legend of San San Ku” has won the premier prize, the Hei Tiki Trophy, in the Christchurch International Amateur Film Festival of 1970. The festival, promoted by the Christchurch Movie Club, attracted 39 entries from 12 countries—Australia, United States, Germany, Finland France, New Zealand, Can ada, Britain, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and Jugo slavia. Public screenings of the films will be held on Octobei 31, November 2 and 3 in the Canterbury Museum Thea trette. ' Section winners in the festival are: Fiction, "The Legend of San San Ku;” travel, “Image of India,” .R. D. Chariton (Australia); documentary, “Tule Lake,” F. C.
