Move north planned
Until Thursday the Washdyke trainer, W. M. Turner, was considering a move to Riccarton with his team. He finally decided against such a move because of the lack of suitable roads for road work, but he intends to look at properties in the Otaki district when he takes Lady Glory north for a campaign at the Wellington Racing Club’s spring ■tigTurner said that Lady Glory’s chances would be limited in file South Island after she won two or three more races. After racing her at Oamaru today, Turner plans to campaign Lady Glory and seven other members of his team at the Greymouth Jockey Club’s twoday meeting.
