Gulf trade mission
A New Zealand Manufacturers’ Federation trade mission to the Arabian Gulf next month will be led by the assistant-director of the Canterbury Manufacturers' Association (Mr I. D. Howell). Ml Howell was deputydirector of this year’s trade mission to Japan, and last year studied in Britain, Europe and the United States on a Churchill fellowship.
Twelve manufacturers will take part in the mission to Saudi. Arabia, Iran and seven other Gult States. One of them is from Christchurch— Mr B. J. Fraser, a director of A. W. Fraser and Sons, Ltd, and Fraser Engineering Company, Ltd.
