Link with China
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) NEW YORK, Sept. 18. Canada is expected to establish diplomatic relations with China within the next few weeks, in a move likely to improve Peking’s prospects of becoming a member of the United Nations, informed sources said yesterday. The sources added that following protracted negotiations in Stockholm between Canadian and Chinese diplomats, only minor adjustments in the wording of a final declaration announcing the official establishment of relations remained.
