Sir, —Thank you for your reply on the payroll tax. I think I see what you mean now. A, B, C and Ddo four units of work at present. In future this work is done by A, B, and C (efficient use), and D is kept on tp make the morning and afternoon tea (sparing use and no unemployment).—Yours, etc., J. A. NEALE.
