A three-bedroomed, roughcast house on a 40-perch section at 260 Kilmore Street was sold at public auction yesterday for $10,500. The Government valuation is $BBOO. The house also has a large sunroom, lounge and diningroom both with fireplaces, a modern bathroom and toilet and remodelled kitchen. Other improvements to the property include ’ a large garage capable of taking seven vehicles, an outside toilet and summerhouse with a fish pond.
The auctioneer was Mr D. O. Chapman for Ford and Hadfield, Ltd, in conjunction with N. H. McCrostie and Company.
