Help For Games
The Clutha County Council has decided to give $lOO a year for the next four years towards the cost of the 1974 Commonwealth Games in Christchurch. Councillors expressed pleasure that the Mayor of Christchurch (Mr A. R. Guthrey) had made a special effort to get the games for New Zealand and for the South Island.
