(N.Z. Press Aasociatton) AUCKLAND, Sept. 4. An urgent appeal for Government action to alleviate the plight of farmers caused by the industrial dispute at five Auck* land freezing works has been made by the chairman of the Dairy Board (Mr F. L. Onion). Mr Onion said today that during a telephone conversation with the Minister of Labour (Mr Marshall), he had reemphasised the problems caused on farms by inability to get bobby calves into the freezing works. “I had Mr Marshall’s assurance that the matter was being given urgent and immediate consideration,” Mr Onion said.
