Home-Design Course
How many people know how to incorporate elements of hue, intensity, and value in the colour scheme when they are planning • their homes? This and many other features of home designing will be outlined in a series of lectures on home design organised by the department of extension studies at the University of Canterbury, starting tomorrow. The course of 10 weekly lectures, by Miss R. Robins, senior lecturer in the department of extension studies, is planned to help home-owners “to decorate for comfort, convenience, flexibility and individuality, and to select and arrange household possessions according to the principles of design and good taste.”
