McCormick Omitted

The omission of W. D. McCormick and the inclusion of W. D. Cottrell at second five eights are among the main features of the All Black team to play the Gazelles at Potchefstroom tomorrow.
McCormick has not played since the third test when he suffered severe bruising. However, he was considered fit enough for the. match against Northern Transvaal on Saturday. Cottrell’s form will be of great interest as the All Blanks still have problems in midfield and I. R. Macßae, who had a pain killing injec tion to play in the third test, is still on the injured list. In another surprise move, the selectors have decided to gamble on S. M. Going not being injured and have named him as the half-back. The team is: G. F. Kember; G. S. Thorne, W. L. Davis, M J. Dick; Cottrell, E. W. Kirton; Going; B. J. Lochore (captain); A. J. Wyllie, C. E. Meads, S. C, Strahan, T. N. Lister; A. E. Hopkinson, B. E. McLeod, N. W. Thimbleby.
