NAVAL COMMEMORATIVE SERVICE.—The annual church service of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Association being conducted at H.M.N.Z.S. Pegasus yesterday by the Rev. P. N. Wright, chaplain to the Canterbury Division, R.N.Z.N.V.R. On the extreme left is Commodore J. P. S. Valiant, the Navy’s commodore at Auckland, who is payiiig an official visit to Canterbury.
