TELEVISION SET STOLEN
A 17in television set valued at $240 was taken from a ■ house in Merivale Lane which was burgled some time in the last three days In other recent burglaries 341 and a pension book were taken from a house in Milton Street, $lO was taken from a house in Radley Street, shoes worth $13.60 were taken from a house in Simeon Street, and ■ a packet of cigars were taken (from a house in Canon Street. A transistor radio valued at $l5 and six bottles of beer were stolen yesterday from a car parked near the intersection of Antigua Street and i Moorhouse Avenue.
