Ruffels swept Flllol aside in the final set, ending the match by winning nine successive points. QUALIFIER The New Zealander, S. McHardy, yesterday qualified for the Long John £lO,OOO matchplay golf championship at Moor Park with a score of 72. A total of 67 competitors —34 playing over the west course and 33, including McHardy, over the high course—qualified for the tournament proper.—Reuter, Rickmansworth. MURRAY’S INJURY The Canterbury Rugby fullback, S. M. C.
