Flash Fire In Spirit Bath
A flash fire in a kerosene bath at the Carmen Road factory of Wooff and Salvesen, Ltd, at 11.2 a.m. yesterday caused only minor damage, although an employee of the company, Mr J. Ford, was treated for minor bums.
Two engines, one each from the Harewood and Sockbum stations, attended the fire, which had spread to walls and part of the roof.
