Teams For Carnival
The New South Wales swimming team to compete in a carnival at the Wharenui pool in Christchurch next Friday and Saturday has been named. There are 18 in the pa^y - " 1 ® boys and eight girls, all still, at school. ~ None of the State’s wellknown swimmers are included but the team is expected to pro- - vide strong opposition for th® young swimmers in Christchurch. An Auckland team of eight girls and live boys will compete Jn the two carnivals. The visit- ' ing teams are:— New South Wales.—Girls: D. Bell, S. Booth, J. Glllet, R. Green, K. Hayes, G. Walker, J. ' Wallis, S. Watts. Boys: D, Baxter, P. Connolly. M. Creswick, C. Meakin, P. Moore. R. Nay,M. Schubert, J. Wilkinson, J. Williams, R. Williams. Auckland.—Boys: J. BannerMartin, R. Johnson, P. Thorogood, R. Faulding, G. Ward. Girls: G. Tanner, C. Mackie. D. Sparnon, C. Coates, H. Pilkington, -A. Carrick, J. Wolff, B. Maorae.
