It is Taranaki's final match . before the Ranfurly Shield match against Canterbury on September 5. The captain, M. C. Wills, will be making his one hundredth appearance for the province. McGeb, who replaces D. A. * Vesty, has played five matches . at centre, one at second fiveeighths and one as a replacement wing, for Taranaki this « season. He is the only change r in the Taranaki team that beat «. King Country last Saturday.
