Legislation Delayed

?N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 20. It would be some time before the first batch of indusI trial legislation, announced by the Deputy Prime Minister (Mr Marshall), at the National Party Conference, would be introduced into Parliament, the Prime Minster (Sir Keith Holyoake), said today. He said Mr Marshall could not get the Employers’ Federation and the Federation of Labour together before the end of the month. Legislation would follow some time after that. Sir Keith said he did not expect to call another Parliamentary recess before the end of the session later this year. There was enough legislation planned and select committees were well up with their work.
