Timothy Richard Shadbolt, aged 23, described as a student, of Auckland, who has been attending the Universities’ Arts Festival and the Radical Activist Congress in Wellington this week, has been committed to Wellington Prison for the non-pay-ment of fines—having been convicted and fined $25 for trespassing on the Wellington Airport on June 13, when the All Blacks left for South Africa, and ordered to pay $44 restitution for damage to a policeman’s clothing. Wellington police confirmed this afternoon that they had executed last evening a warrant of commitment for Shad bolt for the non-payment of fines, the warrant having been issued at Auckland. Shadbolt would be committed to prison for one month, the police said. _
