SENIOR ENGINEERS—STARTING SALARY: $A8743 $A9353 per annum. These senior supervisory positions require engineers who have had at least 10 years suitable post graduate experience, related to the. responsibilities mentioned above. SUPERVISING ENGINEERS—STARTING SALARY: $A7456 - SABO6O per annum. Five to 10 years post graduate experience is envisaged for these positions, preferably with some relevant supervision included. CAREER ENGINEERS—SALARY RANGE: $A4213 - $A7029 per annum, commencing salary within the range depending on experience. For these positions a university degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification will' be the minimum academic standard required. UNIVERSITY GRADUATES 1970 Applications are also invited from potential graduates. Appointments in such cases would initially be made at 5A3867 per annum subject to automatic reclassification to 3A4213 per annum upon production of documentary evidence of the successful completion of the final examinations. In most cases, the status of Registered Engineer (N.Z.), or Corporate Membership of the British Engineering Institutions confers eligibility for Corporate Membership of The Institution of Engineers, Australia, for which the minimum salary payable is $A5851 per annum.
