The appointee will be required to undertake the direction of teaching and research together with the general administration of the sociology division of the department of psychology and sociology. The commencing or subsequent salary of the appointee may be increased as a result of the review which is made at the beginning of each year. SENIOR LECTURER OR LECTURER IN GENERL EXPERIMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY ; Psychology is taught at ail levels in the School of Social Sciences and to first-year students in the School of Science. Though comparative and physiological psychology is taught within the programmes of these schools, the applicant should have a general competence in the experimental study of human behaviour and should indicate his areas of special competence and interest within the field. . Temporary laboratory accommodation will be available in 1971 and a permanent set of laboratories for teaching this Subject are in process of planning. READER. SENIOR LECTURER, OR LECTURER IN SOCIOLOGY Sociology is a main subject in the School of Social Sciences, but courses are also available to students in other schools.
