(N.Z.P.A.-Keuter —Copyrighf) LONDON, August 20. One of the Church of England’s leading liberals, Bishop Mervyn Stockwood, of Southwark, said yesterday that if the cast of “Oh! Calcutta!” put its clothes on, the show would not last a week. “Sheer, stark boredom of a sick variety,” Dr Stockwood wrote in the "Guardian.” “I cannot remember a more tedious evening. . . . The frequent excursions into nakedness reminded me of bath night drill at boarding school. The script and illustrations were reminiscent of the graffiti that I once found on the walls of a mental hospital.”
