Rejection Of Appeals

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, Aug. 20.

Six out of seven Cambridge University students gaoled for rioting against the Greek junta had their appeals rejected yesterday. In the case of the seventh student, a 24-year-old South African, Brian Williams, the Appeal Court quashed his conviction for possessing an offensive weapon and set aside his nine-month gaol sentence. The seven were convicted of disturbances at a Cambridge hotel last February during a dinner held by the Greek National Tourist Board.
