Townswomen’s Anniversary
The Phillipstown Townswomen’s Guild celebrated its twelfth anniversary recently when the president (Miss F. Buchanan) welcomed guests. They included Mrs C. G. Crawford, Dominion president; Mesdames C. A. Smith and R. Allison, Dominion executive; Mesdames J. Russell and F. A Fllntoft, of the Christchurch area federation; Mrs D. E.,Plumridge, founder of the guild; and representatives of other guilds. A programme of entertainment included items by the singing and drama circles of the Linwood Townswomen’s < Guild.
