Obrecht joined the American mixed pairs team of R. and G. Robovitsky on the victory stand, to give West Germany and the United States two championships apiece in the three days of competition. Earlier, C. Kreutzfeldt (West Germany) had won the women’s singles and the Americans, R. Horne and J. Panky, the dance pairs. M. Gallmann (Weft Germany) was second and M. Jaques (United States) third in the men’s singles. The New Zealander, P. McArthur, finished thirteenth. , R. Balls and M. Chapman (England) were second and M. Weingart and F. Drzymalla (West Germany) third in the

mixed pairs. McArthur and A. Gilett (New Zealand) finished tenth.
