(N.Z.P.A. Staff Correspondent? LONDON. New Zealand won four gold, four silver and one bronze medals at the Commonwealth Paraplegic Games in Edinburgh yesterday. G. Marrett and Father Leo Close were first and second in the discus for athletes of class two disability, and W Plessius and W. Lean completed another gold-silver double for New Zealand in class four. In the shot put, Marrett again won the gold, with D. Moore taking the silver for New Zealand, in class four, Lean took the gold and Plessius the silver. Father Close Was the only successful New Zealander in the javelin, winning a bronze medal.
