Avonside Recovers To Draw Table Tennis

The surprise result in the eleventh round of the senior table tennis competition last night was the effort of Avonside drawing with Selwyn, 14 games each, after trailing by three matches to six. The former Australian champion, R. Jackson, was in sound form to win his three singles matches, and he had excellent support from Mrs T. May, who won the vital singles contest with G. Maklnson. N. Brightwell, who has beaten Jackson in their previous two encounters, was never in a position of control and was beaten decisively In straight games. H.
