Koral, Hillis’s partner in nine wins—including the 1965 Grand National—was heavily bandaged when he worked on the outside of the course proper yesterday.
THE RICCARTON TRAINER, J. L. BARR (right), photographed at Riccarton yesterday with his three stable runners for the Winter Cup on Saturday. They are, from left, Meldie (D. Tucker), Quetta (E. G. Low), and Harold Bank (M. J. Skelton).
