Beckenham Guild

The Beckenham Townswomen’s Guild recently celebrated its twenty-first birthday with a luncheon. The founder, and first president, Mrs J. Ironside, was among the special guests, who included the Dominion president (Mrs C. C. Crawford), and the area president (Mrs J. Russell). Mrs E. E. Piper, the guild’s president, welcomed many members and guests. Twelve members were presented with life-membership service badges by Mrs Crawford. They were Mesdames J. Ironside, K. Hayes, J. Thomson, P. Allison, J. Grieve, M. Piper, E. Allsop, I. Robinson, G. Moir, E. Logan, E. Read, and W. Richards.
