Farewell To B. R. Taylor
The Canterbury Cricket Supporters’ Club has arranged a farewell function for the New Zealand representative. B. R. Taylor, to be held at the Hagley Sports Centre, this evening. Taylor, who first played for Canterbury late in the 1964-65 season and toured with the New Zealand team to England India and Pakistan a few months later, has been transferred to Wellington. The function will also be attended by members of the Ambassadors team, which recently returned from a world tour. They will have the opportunity to recount their experiences in countries not generally regarded as part of the international cricketing family.
