Nobel Candidate
The Universal Esperanto Association has been nominated as a candidate for the 1970 Nobel Peace Prize, according to a statement from the Esperanto Club. The association has been nominated by 25 eminent persons in Britain, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland because of the international language’s contribution towards peace and understanding between different peoples, the statement said. ‘
