Long Waiting List About 420 aged persons are now on the waiting list for accommodation in institutions in Christchurch run by the Christchurch Methodist Central Mission. These include the Wesley Lodge and hospital, Cambridge Terrace, and Fairhaven, the home for the ageing in Harewood Rqad, Papanui. The superintendent of the mission (the Rev. W. E. Falkingham), said that the waiting list for accommodation was gradually increasing N.Z. Film Success In competition with 29 other countries presenting 69 films, New Zealand, with “Spring in New Zealand,” has won the bronze medal at the twenty-first Tourist Film Festival in Marseilles. A Brazilian entry, “South Dynamic,” won the golden palm award, ’ and Austria and Greece i shared the silver medal.—Marseilles, July 27. Hotel Changes i Seventeen of the 49 hotels I in South Canterbury had i changed hands in the last i eight months, the president : of the South Canterbury - Hotel Association (Mr E.
