Projector Stolen
A film strip projector, a radiogram and a microphone were stolen when the Mairehau Primary School was burgled recently. Cigarettes, tyres and batteries of a total value of $ll3 were taken from the Tai Tapu Garage, a case of mandarins worth $4 was taken from Wholesale Fruit Company, Ltd, Hampshire Street, and a radio worth $2O was taken from a shed on the Town Hall site. A transistor radio worth $l5 was taken from a house in Bealey Avenue, and a safe containing $2O was taken from the Returned Services’ Association, Gloucester Street A television set and longplaying records worth a total of $575 were stolen from a house in Peterborough Street
